Dong quai is a uterine tonic, it helps to tone the uterus and may help relieve cramps and symptoms of menopause. It is a blood purifier; it detoxifies and nourishes the blood, helping to improve circulation and organ function. 
 
 
Contraindications: Do not use while pregnant, or before surgery.
